Bread for Life
Bread for Life provides meals on the weekend for the chronically hungry children of Flushing, MI. This ministry is one we share with several churches in our community. Every Thursday, throughout the school year, we gather at Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene to pack grocery bags full of food that even a young child is able to access on their own. We do this ministry in conjunction with Flushing Community Schools. The school system identifies the children who are eligible for this food and if you would like to have your child participate, please contact their school. If you would like to help pack the bags, please contact Flushing Community Church of the Nazarene at 810-732-0282 .

Wake the Bear
Holy Cross and other Flushing churches unite to raise funds for the Bread for Life ministry. In September we sponsor a golf outing called Wake the Bear. All proceeds go to purchasing food for Flushing area chronically hungry children. To learn more about Wake the Bear or to sign up to participate, click HERE.
